How to Use Slurpy Bear Refillable Dehumidifier Boxes?

1. Refilling the Boxes:

Remove lid and paper from the dehumidifier box. For single-use boxes, slit an opening on one side of the paper.
Flush old liquid away into toilet bowl.
Place mesh filter with the tip facing up. Press it down firmly till you hear “clicks” to ensure it is securely fitted.
Pour refill onto mesh filter about 2/3 height. Place paper at the top and secure the lid back – press the lid down till you hear “clicks” all round to ensure secure fitting.
Quickly squeeze out as much excess air as possible from the Slurpy Bear refill bag and screw back tightly to keep out moisture.
Store refill pack in a cool and dry area.

2. Placement:

Position the dehumidifier boxes in areas prone to moisture, such as wardrobes, cabinets, or bathrooms.

3. Maintenance:

Each refilled box lasts between 1 to 3 months, depending on humidity and temperature conditions.
Once the beads have fully dissolved, dispose and flush the liquid in the toilet bowl and refill the box again.

Safety Precautions

Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Avoid inhalation and consumption.

Dispose of the collected liquid into the toilet bowl; avoid pouring it into sinks to prevent rust.

Do not use the product if it is torn, deformed, or damaged.

1. Can I use it for other brands/my own dehumidifier box? You can definitely reuse your existing dehumidifier boxes to reduce plastic waste. If you require more boxes, you could consider Slurpy Bear’s Starter Pack Bundle, which comes with 8 empty boxes and the refill bag.

2. How can I refill/reuse my emptied refill bags?

3. How many boxes should I place at home? We recommend to place 1-2 refillable dehumidifier boxes in each drawer/cupboard/area for more effective absorption. For real-time data of humidity levels, use Slurpy Bear digital hygrometer which provides actual indoor humidity and temperature levels.

4. Is the Slurpy Bear Dehumidifier the same as normal dehumidifier boxes sold at supermarkets? The contents are exactly the same, except that most dehumidifiers in the market are unscented. Apart from the original unscented refill, Slurpy Bear’s moisture absorber provides a wide variety of scent-infused refill beads and a deodorising charcoal option. 5. Will the scent be strong enough to fill the room? Our scents are generally mild and will only be more significant in small, enclosed areas. Do place box upright to prevent accidental knock overs. If you prefer unscented, choose either original unscented or anti odour charcoal.
