Why Choose Slurpy Bear's Formaldehyde Removal and Activated Charcoal Deodorisers?

1. Formaldehyde Removal Gel

Formaldehyde gas is a strong-smelling toxic gas commonly released from furniture, flooring, household glues and pressed wood, proven to cause breathing difficulties, skin allergies and increase certain cancer risks. This removal gel is specially curated to effectively absorb total volatile organic compounds (TVOCs), formaldehyde gas, odours and purify the air we live in!

How to Use:

Simply remove the aluminium sheet and place the removal gel tub in areas such as living room, bedrooms, cabinets and car. Replace every 3 to 6 months, or when the gel has disappeared.

For more effective monitoring of your indoor formaldehyde levels, add on the Slurpy Bear formaldehyde air quality detector that will provide real-time data of your air quality. Re-calibrate the device after each use in the area for increased accuracy in real-time reading. When the beep buzzer sounds, press the power button once to mute the buzzer.

2. Reusable Activated Charcoal Deodorisers

Our activated charcoal deodorisers are designed to absorb toxic fumes including formaldehyde gas and odours. These packs provide a good alternative if you prefer reusables! Simply place the packs under direct sunlight after 1 to 2 months of usage for 3 to 5 hours to release trapped odours and contaminants, and they’ll be as good as new.

Replace the packs only when absorption becomes less effective, giving you up to 3 years of freshness with every bag. Slurpy Bear ensures that our charcoal deodoriser bags offer an eco-friendly solution that saves both money and the environment.

How to Use:

Our charcoal deodoriser is thoughtfully designed for maximum versatility and efficiency.

FAQs

1. How to reuse the activated charcoal deodoriser pack? After 1 to 2 months of usage, place bags in direct sunlight for 3 to 5 hours to release odour and contaminants. Repeat cycle and reuse bag for up to 2-3 years. Replace when no longer effective.

2. How do I know it’s time to replace the charcoal packs? You may replace the charcoal packs with brand new ones when you feel that they are not absorbing as fast as before.

3. How many charcoal packs should I place?

For a 50g pack, place 2-5 charcoal deodoriser bags per 1m2 area.

4. What does the activated charcoal deodoriser pack absorb? With its porous structure, activated charcoal can absorb a wide variety of substances including odour, toxins, chemical and gases (e.g. formaldehyde gas commonly found in newly renovated homes).

5. Does activated charcoal pack contain toxic chemicals and is it safe for use around pets and/or children? Activated charcoal is free from chemical and fragrance, and the charcoal packs are safe to be used with children and pets around.

6. Can the charcoal deodoriser bag be used without the fridge case? Yes, it can be used without case. Add the fridge deodoriser case if you prefer to keep the charcoal pack separate from food in your fridge, or if you prefer to keep your shoes cabinet more organised.

7. How does the formaldehyde removal gel work in removing the toxic gas? When the gel is released into the air, it reacts with formaldehyde gas emitted from cabinets and vinyl flooring, breaking it down into less harmful substances like carbon dioxide and water. This process of using an air deodoriser makes the removal process safer and more efficient without producing secondary pollution.

8. How many formaldehyde removal gel tubs should I place per area? Each tub covers about 10-15 sqm. The gel will deplete gradually and completely disappear within 3-6 months. Should you require a larger coverage, do place more tubs in each area.
